Well I've been so caught up in "doing" that I've been stolen away from my blogging.
Some incredibly beautiful yarn arrived this week at the witch's stead.
In order - the parcel from my lovely sock swap mate on Ravelry, Ally. Light through the Ice, Needle Food's inaugural sock club mail out. Hyacinth Bouquet and Be Still my broken heart both from Crazy Monkey and Lilacs from Jolly Jumbuck. So much yarny goodness!
I've also finished my throw blanket that I've been working on for two years, from the Art of Knitting Magazine.
I've nicknamed it the Mofo Throw, because it's completely put me off knitting another throw ever again. Although it is pretty and lovely and warm. AND I finished it just in time for some REALLY cold weather.
In other news, I've been putting together a piece for the yarn bombing of the National Gallery in Canberra in July. It's all knitted and I'm just crocheting up some flowers to sew over it. Of course, I need to get the feeling back into my fingers for that to happen. Did I mention that it's cold??
In other news, my mother has completely taken to her street name, and is signing her emails Dawg Mutha. My work here is done.
