Well kind of, at the North Pine Markets at any rate. Foolishly I forgot to take the camera with me.
The Markets are held every Sunday locally at Old Petrie Town, which is basically a history lesson you can walk around in. It's also a great place for the local arts and crafts people to put their wares on display. The witchlet got her face painted, and I swear it's the most artistic face painting I've ever seen.
And I discovered a local painter whose work I love and who sells her paintings very cheaply. This is now on my living room wall. It's wonderful and textured, which you can kind of see in the photo.
So May is coming up, and, given the number of charity stuff I created this month, I'm declaring next month a ME craft month. Hang on, I haven't shown you the Mother's Day Stuff yet.
Here we are, 23 items all socks and scarves, painstakingly created by yours truly for the Strathpine West kids to treat their mums with. I hope they like them! And may it be a good 12 months before I touch feathers or eyelash yarn again!
Where was I? Oh yes, me month. I've got some socks I'm planning on knitting in conjunction with a Knit-along on Ravelry. I also have some more Hexie Blankies I'm wanting to make for Birthday and Christmas pressies. Winter is of course the best time for snuggly projects.
Also, I may have found an art course to enrol in ...
