I'm a little late with this post, but better late than never right?
Last week, Saturn finally left Virgo (and you could hear Virgoans the world over breathe a sigh of relief) and entered Libra.
I like to think of Saturn as the planet of obligation. When you say to yourself "I should really" Saturn is peering over your shoulder and preparing to kick you in the backside. It doesn't have much of a sense of humour, it's energy is heavy and very serious. The ruler of Capricorn, Saturn also deals with big business, Mother Earth and things that come out of the ground such as oil. (Interesting to note that the oil leak in the Timor Sea was finally plugged yesterday after being out of control for months.
Libra is the sign of balance and relating. Saturn in Libra will be bringing a focus to this area. People will be feeling obliged to do the "right thing" in their relationships - giving their spouse or friend who has been annoying them one more chance.
Relationships within businesses and between countries will also be in focus. Again, interesting to note that Fiji has just expelled Australian and New Zealand representatives.
As a small aside, those people in their mid to late thirties will start to have the joyous experience of Saturn on their natal Pluto. This is a very stern and serious aspect. Suddenly, you will realise that you are not as young as you used to be. You will start thinking about the future and (dare I say it?) old age. You will suddenly realise that you need to make some changes if you want to be in the position you have imagined by the time you reach your 50s or 60s. This could include a health scare - if you're not easily led by these sorts of thoughts, the universe likes to make sure you get it.
Start reviewing your goals. Are they sensible? Are they practical? The time to make positive change is now.
